Trabzonspor express interest in re-signing Alexander Sørloth from RB Leipzig

Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu says he would be happy to bring back Alexander Sørloth from RB Leipzig.
Trabzonspor have expressed interest in re-signing Alexander Sørloth from RB Leipzig.

The former Crystal Palace striker has had a disappointing first season in the Bundesliga following his €20 million switch from Turkey last summer. As a result, Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has now offered to take him back.

"We gave a Ferrari to Leipzig, but they have treated him like a normal car," Agaoglu is quoted as saying by Bild.

"Alex wasn't feeling well at Crystal Palace either, but then we built up his confidence here. We'd be happy to do that again."

As per Bild, Trabzonspor would like to take Sørloth on loan, but are yet to make an official offer for the 25-year-old.

The Norwegian international has scored six goals in 36 games for RB Leipzig so far.
