Dortmund set to offer teenage sensation a stunning contract extension deal

Reports from England suggest Dortmund to be opening contract extension talks with Jude Bellingham after his impressive performances for the club in 2020/21.
The midfield teenage sensation has been one of Bundesliga’s most talked about talents in recent months. The 17-year-old Birmingham youth product appeared 46 times for Die Schwarzengleben throughout the course of the previous season – scoring 4 goals and assisting as many across all competitions.

According to latest reports from British outlet Mirror, with his current contract valid until June 2023, Borussia Dortmund are planning to extend it for further two years until 2025 – primarily with the aim of including a staggering buy-out clause, the details of which are unknown.

He is also bound to get his salary doubled to almost an eye-watering sum of €95,000 per week.

Bellingham has a current transfer market value of €55m, according to transfermarkt.

Amid interest from Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City & Chelsea, Dortmund certainly do not possess the intention of letting him go – less than one year after triggering his record €23m transfer from Birmingham City.
