Sky Germany: Wolfsburg reject Leipzig bid for Lacroix

VfL Wolfsburg have rejected a 20 million euros offer for Maxence Lacroix from RB Leipzig, according to Sky Germany.
RB Leipzig have made their first offer to VfL Wolfsburg for Maxence Lacroix, a €20 million bid, which was quickly rejected.

Per the report, Wolfsburg are demanding at least €30 million for his services.

'Die Roten Bullen' want to bring in the 21-year-old as a replacement for Ibrahima Konaté, who recently left the club to join Liverpool.

Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer expects the defender to stay, as reported earlier.

"I assume that he will continue to play for us," said Marcel Schäfer in an interview with Kicker.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Lacroix, whose contract with Wolfsburg expires in 2024.
