Sancho FINALLY plays for England at EURO 2020
Jadon Sancho finally got off the bench and played some minutes for England during EURO 2020 as he was an 83rd-minute substitute in England's 1-0 victory over the Czech Republic. Both Sancho and BVB teammate Jude Bellingham started the final group game on the bench and both were brought on in the 2nd half. England got their 1 and only goal through Raheem Sterling who headed home a cross from Jack Grealish. Czech Republic's Bundesliga contingent were largely ineffective, with the current joint-top scorer of the tournament Patrik Schick not being able to trouble Jordan Pickford in the England goal. Hertha Berlin's Vladimir Darida tried to create for the likes of Schick and substitute Adam Hlozek, but nothing arose for the Czechs who qualify for the round of 16 in 3rd place.

Czech Republic Starting XI: (4-2-3-1)

England Starting XI: (4-2-3-1)

Croatia break Scottish hearts
Croatia took their time, but they finally got that elusive first win of the tournament to qualify in 2nd place out of group D and leaving Scotland out of the round of 16 party from group D. No Bundesliga goal involvements in this game but it was a great spectacle regardless as another goal of the tournament contender was produced at Hampden Park from Luka Modric, a spectacular 2nd goal for Croatia in a 3-1 win over Scotland. RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol was given the start at left-back but was replaced in the 71st minute. Hoffenheim striker Andrej Kramaric was subbed on at the same time Gvardiol was replaced whereas Wolfsburg winger Josip Brekalo was an unused sub.
