FC Bayern München confirmed on Tuesday that attacking midfielder Sarpreet Singh had received a new loan deal. The 22-year-old will spend the 2021/22 campaign at SSV Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga.
Rumors that German giants FC Bayern München had located a new loan destination for young attacking prospect Sarpreet Singh were confirmed on Tuesday. The club's website announced that the New Zealand international will head too Regensburg for the upcoming season.
"Sarpreet has already familiarized himself with the demands of the 2nd division [at 1. FC Nürnberg]," Bayern's head of youth development Jochen Sauer noted in a statement, "Now he should continue to develop in a sustainable fashion at this level in order to take the next step."
Singh, who already may a pair of appearances for the senior FCB side near the end of the 2019/20 campaign, only fulfilled half of his previous loan commitment at Nürnberg. The arrangement was broken off by mutual consent this past January.
