Sigurd Haugen's transfer from TSV 1860 München to 1.FC Nürnberg is complete, according to Sky Germany's sources.

The 28-year-old joins the 2. Bundesliga side on a free transfer after 1860 München's enforced relegation to the Regionalliga.

Their mounting debt and inability to afford their license for the third tier means the Norwegian marksman has to be let go.

Haugen was one of the Munich club's standout performers last campaign, bagging 16 goals and 4 assists in 35 league games.

The former Norwegian U-19 international has already completed his medical in Nürnberg and is set to sign a contract until 2029.
