Hamburger SV's Rayan Philippe is set to move clubs within the Bundesliga in search of more regular playing time.

As reported by Sky Germany, the attacking player is on the verge of a transfer to newly promoted SC Paderborn.

The Frenchman initially transferred from Eintracht Braunschweig to HSV just over a year ago for €4million.

However, he failed to establish himself there in the long term and now the Hanseatic club have agreed to loan him out with an option to buy.

Philippe alternated between the substitutes' bench and the starting eleven, finishing the 2025-26 season with 5 Bundesliga goals.
