Nicolò Tresoldi continues to draw interest from European top-five leagues, as Sky Sports report RB Leipzig have also been tracking him for some time. According to the Pay-TV channel, there is still no direct contact between RB Leipzig and Club Brugge.
The striker produced 20 goals and 8 assists in his debut season at Club Brugge after joining the Belgian side from 2. Bundesliga outfit Hannover. He also found the net in the Super Cup and the opening matchday of this season’s Pro League campaign.
Tresoldi is a current Germany U21 international, but Italy plan to convince him as he was born in Cagliari. After Julian Nagelsmann hinted at his inclusion in the World Cup squad, the 21-year-old wasn’t on the list that traveled to North America for the tournament.
According to Sky Sports, a realistic price for Tresoldi will be around €35 million. RB Leipzig cancelled their signing of Fisnik Asllani after they spotted issues during the medical check of Hoffenheim’s attacker.
