VfB Stuttgart midfielder Chema Andrés is in line to complete a last-minute move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to Sky Germany, Brighton & Hove Albion have had a €23 million bid for the central midfielder accepted by Stuttgart. The agreement also includes a significant sell-on clause for the Bundesliga side.
Real Madrid are indirectly involved in the transfer as well. The La Liga giants could have exercised a buyback option worth around €10 million for Chema Andrés but chose not to do so. Instead, Real will receive half of the transfer fee – €11.5 million.
Chema, 21, joined Stuttgart from Real Madrid in the summer of 2025 for €3 million.
Since then, he has made 41 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
