On Sunday, Borussia Mönchengladbach announced that Giovanni Reyna had been left out of the club’s training camp squad amid negotiations with another club.

Sky Germany now reports that a full agreement has been reached for the United States international to join French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

Gladbach will receive a transfer fee of €4 million, including realistic add-ons, and have also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause as part of the deal.

Reyna will arrive at Strasbourg as a replacement for Valentin Barco, who has been sold to Chelsea.

The 23-year-old spent just one season at Borussia-Park, recording one goal and one assist in 20 appearances.
