Herbert Hainer has confirmed that there will be no rendezvous at Marienplatz should Bayern win the DFB-Pokal final this Saturday, 23 May.

Facing off against VfB Stuttgart at 20:00 CET in Berlin, the Bayern chief revealed the players will have no time to party with fans if they succeed.

“They won’t be coming back because the national team players will be joining their national teams two days later.

"They’ll go home on Sunday and rest for another day or two," Hainer told BILD, as the players' priorities turn to the 2026 World Cup.

Should the Bavarians get over the line this weekend, it will be their first domestic double since the 2019-20 campaign six years ago.

The recently crowned Bundesliga champions' raised the Meisterschale at Marienplatz on Sunday, 17 May, to celebrate their 35th-title lift.
