Jobe Bellingham could make first start for Dortmund vs. Fluminense

According to Bild, Jobe Bellingham could be thrown straight into Borussia Dortmund’s starting lineup for their Club World Cup opener.

    Jobe Bellingham looks set for his Borussia Dortmund debut after impressing in training ahead of their Club World Cup opener against Fluminense on Tuesday.

    According to Bild, the 19-year-old could be “directly in the starting lineup” or come on as an “early substitute.”

    BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl praised Bellingham’s professionalism and winning mentality in a recent interview.

    “He’s clearly in rhythm, having played further into the season," he said.

    “He’s a good kid - very open, but also possesses a winning mentality, the right discipline and professionalism. Jobe has already made his mark in training during the first few days.”

    Bellingham joined Dortmund from Sunderland earlier this month.
