Makoto Hasebe suffers fractured rib in Frankfurt win
Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed via its social media arms that veteran Makoto Hasebe had been admitted to the hospital following Saturday's 3-2 win over Stuttgart.

The injury appeared quite serious. Hasebe required an extended treatment break that lasted nearly three minutes. Stuttgart fans whistled what they initially perceived to be a time wasting tactic on behalf of the leading team. Hasebe nevertheless couldn't stop grabbing his chest and needed assistance to leave the pitch on his own two feet.
After the match, Eintracht released a statement saying that the Japanese international was on his way to the hospital with a suspected fractured rib. During his post-match interview, SGE head-coach Oliver Glasner conceded that the nature of the injury might "keep him out for awhile."
