In an interview with BVB TV, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has reflected on his emotional return to action.

Having worked his way back from long-term shoulder problems, the 18-year-old came on with 20 minutes left of Sunday's clash with Augsburg and got on the scoresheet in Dortmund's 4-3 victory.

When asked how much the goal meant to him, Bynoe-Gittens responded:

"After four months with injury, to score a goal like this what the best that could have happened to me.

"I was so emotional and about to cry on the pitch. I didn't cry, but I was close to. That goal meant a lot to me."
