After weeks of difficult negotiations, RB Leipzig have apparently reached an agreement with Dani Olmo on a new contract.

According to several sources, including Sky Germany, Leipziger Volkszeitung and Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, the parties have come to an agreement.

As a result, Olmo's contract will reportedly be extended from 2024 to 2027, with his new deal including a release clause.

Olmo has been linked with a number of top European clubs, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

He scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 30 appearances for Leipzig in the 2022/23 season.
