Germany announce squad for June friendlies

Germany have announced their squad for their friendlies against Ukraine (June 12), Poland (June 16) and Colombia (June 20).

Returning to the 26-man squad are Robin Gosens, Benjamin Henrichs, Lukas Klostermann, Antonio Rüdiger, Julian Brandt, Ilkay Gündogan, Jonas Hofmann and Leroy Sané, who missed out on the squad last time around for various reasons.

"We want to put our opponents under pressure with a lot of offensive power from the strikers and at the same time be defensively compact with a three-man backline. We are very well positioned with the squad we have selected," said Germany coach Hansi Flick.
