On Monday, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported that FC Barcelona have 'largely agreed' a conract with Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic.

Barcelona are now set to make an offer for Jovic, but it seems the Catalan club could face hefty competition from Real Madrid who have tabled a bid of around €45 million for the young striker, according to Bild.

The German tabloid reports that Jovic hasn't made a decision on his future yet.

Yesterday, a spokesman for Eintracht Frankfurt claimed that the club 'don't know anything' about FC Barcelona's reported interest in Jovic.

However, Eintracht Frankfurt board member Fredi Bobic admits that it will be hard to hold on to Jovic if some of the biggest clubs in Europe come calling for him.

"He has everything that is needed to become a world class player. If real top clubs come calling, we can't compete with them," Bobic told Bild.

The 21-year-old is on loan from Benfica, but Eintracht Frankfurt boss Bruno Hübner has made it clear that the club intend to take advantage of a purchase option to tie him down to a permanent deal.

According to Bild, Frankfurt will have to pay as little as €6-7 million to sign Jovic while Kicker has claimed that the purchase option is closer to €10-12 million.

Jovic has scored 19 goals in 27 appearances for Frankfurt this season.
