Stuttgart confirm loan out for young Serbian striker
VfB Stuttgart confirmed a short-term loan out for attacking prospect Jovan Milosevic yesterday.
Jovan Milošević | FC St. Gallen |
Milosevic was a regular fixture in Hoeneß' match-day squad selections, yet obviously found himself unable to compete for playing time behind the likes of Serhou Guirassy and Deniz Undav. As was the case with German-Greek attacking prospect Thomas Kastanaras, Stuttgart have opted to park Milosevic with a club at which he might gain more match practice.
VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth noted that Milosevic was "proceeding apace" with the German club's expectations and had "made good use" of his time in Stuttgart in a statement released yesterday. VfB correspondent George Moissidis of Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that Stuttgart have pocketed a loan fee in the low six-figure-range for their player.
Milosevic's move to Switzerland remained possible due to the fact that the transfer window in Switzerland remains open through Thursday, February 15th. Moissidis reports that the very short-term loan arrangement does not contain a purchase option. The German club expects Milosevic back in Württemberg very soon.
