Musiala praised from all sides after key performance against Darmstadt

After Bayern's 5-2 win over Darmstadt, Jamal Musiala received praise not only from the Bayern bosses, but also from Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht.
Jamal Musiala stole the show for Bayern Munich in their 5-2 thrashing of Darmstadt in the Bundesliga on Saturday, bagging a brace before adding an assist.

The 21-year-old heads into the international break in excellent form, having racked up four goals and three assists in Bayern's last three Bundesliga games.

“Jamal has been deciding games in recent weeks. We were always happy with him. Now, he feels comfortable in his position and is fit. The automatic moves are coming easier to him, and that's why he is deciding games in our favour," said Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel in a post-match interview.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund spoke in the same vein.

“He's in great form right now. It's really fun to watch him play. He loves playing, is scoring and providing assists. He does incredible things on the pitch and is an extraordinary player."

Even Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht didn't hold back in his praise.

"If you're not involved as an opponent, it's a real joy to watch the boy play. Germany can consider itself fortunate to have such a player," he said.
