Revealed: Nagelsmann's Germany team council

Sport Bild reports that Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has selected a team council consisting of Ilkay Gündogan, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and Antonio Rüdiger.

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has selected a group of players to form a team council that will represent the squad.

According to Sport Bild, the council will consist of Ilkay Gündogan, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos, and Antonio Rüdiger.

Manuel Neuer was Germany's captain for many years, but while he was on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, Ilkay Gündogan took over the responsibility.

Nagelsmann has since confirmed that even though Neuer is back, Gündogan will remain captain.
