Bayern München keeper Manuel Neuer has been included in Germany's final World Cup squad which means he is expected to be Joachim Löw's first-choice keeper in Russia.

After spending seven months on the sidelines with a metatarsal fracture, Neuer returned to training in April. There have been question marks about his form, but Löw has previously said that if Neuer travels to Russia, he will be the German number one at the tournament - and the German keeper feels he is ready for the tasks ahead.

"I feel very good, and I've had very good feedback from my teammates. They have said that they can't see that I haven't played so much recently. It's been very honest feedback, and that was the most important thing for me. I'm convinced that I can take the strain of a whole tournament," he said at a press conference today according to Bundesliga.com.

Neuer was back on the pitch and played 90 minutes when Germany lost 1-2 to Austria in a test match in the weekend.
