Axel Witsel sidelined for the rest of 2019
Axel Witsel has suffered a facial injury that will keep him out until the second half of the season.
Borussia Dortmund will be without Axel Witsel for the rest of the year, the club have announced.
The Belgian international has undergone surgery on a facial injury and will subsequently be out of action until 2020.
Witsel has made 21 appearances for Borussia Dortmund during the 2019/20 campaign so far, scoring three goals and making three assists.
Dortmund have four games left to play in 2019.
