Official: RB Leipzig sign new goalkeeper

Josep Martinez will be joining RB Leipzig from UD Las Palmas in the summer.

RB Leipzig have announced the signing of Josep Martinez from Spanish Segunda División outfit UD Las Palmas.

The Spanish goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a contract until 2024 and will be making the move to Germany in the summer.

"RB Leipzig are an extremely professional organisation and a highly-ambitious Champions League club. They have a clear philosophy of taking young, talented players, making them better and continuing their development," said Martinez in a statement.

Martinez, 21, has made a total of 23 appearances for UD Las Palmas.
