Bayern München president Herbert Hainer says Hansi Flick will stay on as coach beyond the end of the season 'if he keeps winning like this'.

Flick has been told that he will remain in charge until the summer at least, but if Bayern keep playing like they have in recent months, Hainer definitely wants the 54-year-old to stay in the job.

"We are playing successful and enchanting football under Hansi Flick, just like we want to. If he keeps winning like this, there is no alternative," Hainer said in an interview with Passauer Neue Presse.

"We have expressed our confidence in Hansi Flick until the end of the season. I think he's doing an excellent job. And I'm not just saying that because we have won our first three games this year, but also because of the way we play," he continued.

Flick and Bayern have won their last seven games in all competitions.
