Europe's assist kings: Pogba, Neymar and... Philipp Max

Augsburg's Philipp Max is in fine company among the most assisting players in Europe's top five leagues.
The Bundesliga's top assist maker, Augsburg's Philipp Max, is in fine company when his stats are compared to the most assisting players of the English Premier League, the French Ligue 1, the Italian Serie A and the Spanish La Liga.

In fact, the left-back is only beaten by two of the world's most expensive players, Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, when it comes to assists-per-games ratio in Europe's top five leagues.

Top assist makers:

Premier League: Paul Pogba, Manchester United - 13 matches, 9 assists
Ligue 1: Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain - 14 matches, 9 assists
Bundesliga: Philipp Max, FC Augsburg - 18 matches, 9 assists
La Liga: Pione Sisto, Celta Vigo - 19 matches, 9 assists
Serie A: Ciro Immobile, Lazio - 18 matches, 7 assists.

Impressive statistics for Max who was only behind three assists during the whole 2016-17 Bundesliga season.
