Confirmed: Amine Harit to return from suspension on Wednesday
Schalke 04 have lifted Amine Harit's suspension.
Schalke 04 midfielder Amine Harit is set to return to team training on Wednesday, the club have announced.
Harit was suspended by the club two weeks ago for disciplinary reasons after a 0-2 defeat against Wolfsburg in November, which saw the player show disrespect towards Schalke coach Manuel Baum after being taken off in the first half.
"We've said from the start that Amine's period of reflection would end if he made the right decisions about his behaviour," said Schalke head of sport Jochen Schneider.
"Through talks with Amine, he has convinced us that he can once again be a valuable part of the team. Together with head coach Manuel Baum and the rest of the coaching staff, he'll do everything to rediscover his footballing potential," he added.
Harit's imminent return means he could be an option for Schalke 04's Bundesliga clash with Augsburg on Sunday.
