Report: Real Madrid and David Alaba agree to terms

Spanish sporting magazine Marca reports that David Alaba and Real Madrid have concluded negotiations on a four-year-contract.
The Spanish royals are evidently prepared to give accede to David Alaba's salary demands. With a few formalities left to be completed, "Marca" reports that the Austrian defender has agreed to terms on a four-year-deal that will pay him a €11 million per year.

The 28-year-old defensive all-rounder, voted Austria's footballer of the year for the seventh consecutive time, has been mired in a very public contract dispute with the German giants since last summer. There seemed little chance that his agent and father would be able to come to terms with the club he has played for since 2010.

All reports confirm that Alaba will see out his existing contract in Germany, departing on a free transfer after the season concludes.
