After moving to AC Milan from Bayer Leverkusen last year, Hakan Calhanoglu could already be going back to the Bundesliga this summer, Bild reports.

According to the German newspaper, RB Leipzig have identified the Turkish midfielder as a top transfer target in the summer. Allegedly, RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick and Calhanoglu were in contact for months before he moved to AC Milan.

The biggest obstacle is the price. AC Milan paid €22 million for the 23-year-old, and the Italian club are said to demand at least €25 million to let him go.

Calhanoglu has got three goals and seven assists in 25 matches in an AC Milan shirt.
