Peter Bosz expects to stay on as Leverkusen coach despite another defeat
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz denied that his job is on the line after his team fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Hertha BSC on Sunday.
Bayer Leverkusen were leading the Bundesliga in December, but have slipped to sixth in the table after a poor run of form in 2021.
On Sunday, Leverkusen's hopes of European football suffered another blow as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Hertha BSC.
Nevertheless, Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz insists he's not worried about losing his job at the moment.
Asked if he thinks he will still be in his job by the end of the international break, Bosz replied with a brief "Yes".
"It's usually difficult when you don't see the players for a long time. But I think for our team, in the phase we're in, it's maybe a good thing that we don't see most of the players for around 14 days," he added.
Bosz was appointed Leverkusen coach in December 2018.
