Martin Terrier is set to return to the Bayer Leverkusen squad for Tuesday's Champions League away game against Liverpool.

The Frenchman missed Friday's 0-0 draw with Stuttgart after picking up a knock in training, but is now fit again.

"He had a slight reaction to training, so he wasn't in the squad. But I'm assuming he'll be back tomorrow," Bayer Leverkusen managing director for sport Simon Rolfes told Bild on Monday.

"He also trained with the team yesterday, so he should be fine today."

On the upcoming showdown with Liverpool, Rolfes commented:

“That's what we want, that's what we worked for last year, that's what we're working for this year, to get into the Champions League, to experience games like this, and that's why we're looking forward to flying to England soon.”
