Bayern Munich made it three wins in a row on Saturday, beating Union Berlin 3-0 at the Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga.

But while the scoreline suggests that the Bavarians rolled over their opponents, Harry Kane was quick to point out that it was far from easy.

“It was a very good performance from us. It wasn't an easy game. The fans in the Allianz Arena naturally expect us to win games like this, but we put in a good performance. We knew that Berlin are well organised and compact and can counter-attack well. There were a few moments in the first half where we had to be careful," said Kane in a post-match interview.

"Every game at the moment is fun, with the dominance we have and the way we put the opposition under pressure. We defend together and attack together. Another clean sheet in the books today is great.”

Thomas Müller spoke in a similar vein, admitting that Bayern had luck on their side in the first half.

“If we were to analyse the game in detail now, then there were certainly one or two situations today, especially in the first half, where we were also quite lucky,” said Müller, adding:

"But the approach we're taking at the moment is not only producing a great style of play but also results. We're dominant, we don't allow our opponents too many shots on goal, especially when you compare that to the last few years.

"We've now won three games to nil against teams that are more defensively orientated. So, of course, it's different when you're playing against Barcelona or Frankfurt. But the fact is that we actually have a lot of control with our style of play and our opponents don't have many promising goalscoring opportunities. The quality is great."
