Saturday was a day to remember for 18-year-old Adam Aznou, who made his senior debut for Bayern Munich in the 80th minute of the club's 3-0 win over Union Berlin, coming on as a substitute for Alphonso Davies.
Speaking to Bayern's official website, Aznou reflected on the experience, saying:
"I'm very pleased and proud. Bayern are one of the best teams in the world.
“I have to be patient, keep working and keep at it," added the 18-year-old full-back.
Aznou earned praise from coach Vincent Kompany, who said:
"Adam has done very well, both in training and with the national team. He is young, he and his parents should be proud.
"He got into the game well.
"He has to keep going now, there's a lot of work ahead."
The youngster made his senior international debut for Morocco in September.
