Jesper Lindstrøm explains decision to join Frankfurt

New Eintracht Frankfurt signing Jesper Lindstrøm has revealed he had a number of offers to choose from.
At his first press conference as an Eintracht Frankfurt player, 21-year-old attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm lifted the lid on his reasons for making the switch to Deutsche Park Bank from Danish champions Brøndby IF.

"I think it's been a few weeks, maybe a month or a month and a half, since my agent that he had heard from Frankfurt," revealed Lindstrøm.

"I had a few good offers to consider. Frankfurt was one of the best options. The whole structure here made me choose Frankfurt. I don't know if it was an easy choice, but there was certainly a big reason to choose Frankfurt.

"I like that they're counting on young players. Additionally, they have a new coach, new facilities and a new sporting director, which means they're starting a bit from scratch, and I think that's really cool. I want to be part of it and get even better."

Lindstrøm, who scored 10 goals and made 11 assists for Brøndby last season, has signed a five-year deal with Frankfurt.
