Hertha BSC and Augsburg have agreed a deal that will see Marco Richter and Arne Maier swap clubs, according to Bild.
Per the German tabloid, Richter will make the switch from Augsburg to Berlin for a fee of up to €8 million including bonuses plus a sell-on clause.
Meanwhile, Maier will move in the other direction on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy, which will become binding if he plays 25 games.
At Augsburg, Maier will link up with Niklas Dorsch, with whom he won the U21 Euros earlier this summer.
