After reports surfaced on Thursday that Bayer Leverkusen had agreed terms with Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah, it now appears that Die Werkself have taken the next step in securing the centre-back.
According to Sky Germany, Leverkusen have reached an agreement with Liverpool for a fee of €30 million plus add-ons.
A medical is reportedly being arranged, with the transfer expected to be finalized and announced officially next week.
The 22-year-old centre-back is set to replace Jonathan Tah, who recently joined Bayern Munich.
Quansah made 25 appearances for Liverpool during the 2024/25 season and has featured 11 times for England’s U21 side.
