According to exclusive Sky Sport information, VfB Stuttgart wants to sign TSG Hoffenheim's midfielder Grischa Prömel.

The Swabian club wants to sign the Hoffenheim midfielder next summer, where Prömel would currently be available on a free transfer.

Concrete talks between the Bade-Württemberg club and the player have already taken place, based on the pay-TV channel's report.

Besides Stuttgart, many other Bundesliga clubs are also interested in the 31-year-old, who has made 70 appearances for the Sinsheim side.

Furthermore, Sky sources suggest unnamed clubs from abroad are also closely monitoring the midfielder's situation.

Hoffenheim is very keen to extend Prömel's contract and has already submitted a substantial offer.

Negotiations were already at an advanced stage but are currently on hold while the player deliberates over his future.
