Kaua Santos is expected to leave Eintracht Frankfurt before the transfer window closes, according to Absolut Fussball.

The report claims that the club have lost confidence in the goalkeeper, with his performance in the 7-0 friendly defeat to Brentford at the weekend proving to be the final straw.

Die Adler are now open to offloading the goalkeeper before the transfer window closes, either on loan or on a permanent basis, according to the report.

The main alternative to Santos in goal is 31-year-old Michael Zetterer, who has reportedly attracted interest from Leeds United.

However, Kicker have reported that Eintracht are looking to sign a new No. 1, with their report suggesting that Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu is their main target.
