Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Michael Zetterer has reportedly attracted interest from Leeds United.

According to Absolut Fussball, the Premier League outfit have made an enquiry about the 31-year-old German shot-stopper.

At Leeds, who have German coach Daniel Farke at the helm, Zetterer could replace Lucas Perri, who is on the verge of joining Torino.

However, according to the report, the goalkeeper has no intention of leaving Eintracht at the moment.

Zetterer reportedly believes he has a good chance of beating competition from Kaua Santos to take the No. 1 spot for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Kicker have reported that Eintracht are actually looking to sign a new first-choice goalkeeper, naming Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu as their preferred option.

However, with Freiburg demanding around €15 million for Atubolu, that deal is considered unrealistic by Absolut Fussball.

Should Eintracht ultimately bring in a new goalkeeper with the intention of making him their first choice, it would certainly increase the chances of Zetterer leaving.
