Early transfer news for Bayern Munich? After weeks of speculations around bringing in a new centre-back, the Bayern officials have seemingly been working on getting a new midfielder!

Felipe Loyola, who plays for Argentinian club Independiente, is close to joining the Rekordmeister for reportedly around €20 million. The Chilean can play in central midfield and as a rightback if needed.

Profile-wise he has been compared to Bayern's Konrad Laimer who has also been used by the Bavarians in midfield and as a rightback. Loyola has played 18 games in 2025 and contributed to 7 goals (4 goals, 3 assists).

The 24-year-old, who's current contract at Independiente runs until June 2028, has a market value of €6 million (Transfermarkt) and would become Bayern's second transfer for the 2025/26 season after Hoffenheim's Tom Bischof.
