Manu Koné has informed Borussia Mönchengladbach of his desire to leave the club this summer.

This has been confirmed by Gladbach managing director for sport Roland Virkus.

"Manu Koné told us quite early on that he would like to leave the club," Virkus told Kicker.

Koné, who is currently representing France at the Olympics, has recently been linked with AC Milan.

And as Virkus confirms, Gladbach are ready to let him go if the price is right.

"There is no movement at the moment. We're watching the Olympics and then we'll have to see what happens.

“If an offer comes in, then we'll listen to it. But without being forced to do so. In the end, it has to be right for all sides,” Virkus said.
