Signs have been pointing towards the departure of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens for some time.

Local publication Ruhr Nachrichten now reports that the 20-year-old has already informed the club of his desire to leave and has even hinted at a summer departure within the BVB dressing room.

Gittens is reportedly eyeing a move to England, with Arsenal currently leading London rivals Chelsea in the race for his signature, according to the report.

Dortmund are said to be open to selling the highly rated winger for a fee in the region of €50–60 million, with his contract running until 2028.

This season, Gittens has contributed 12 goals and five assists in 46 appearances for Dortmund.
