Less than a year after joining Borussia Dortmund from VfB Stuttgart, Serhou Guirassy has already been linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park.

Recent reports have revealed that the striker has a release clause allowing him to join a select group of clubs, including Chelsea, for a fee of up to €70 million.

However, according to Bild, Guirassy has no intention of leaving and has recently informed the Dortmund management of his desire to remain at the club beyond the summer.

This aligns with recent comments made by BVB managing director for sport Lars Ricken to Sky Germany.

“Serhou was determined to join BVB - and not to leave again after just one year," he stated.

Guirassy has scored 32 goals in 43 appearances for Dortmund this season and has been instrumental in the team’s recent surge up the Bundesliga table to fifth place.
