Kleindienst says decision to join Gladbach from Heidenheim "wasn't difficult"

Tim Kleindienst reveals his decision to leave Heidenheim for Gladbach in the summer "wasn't difficult".

Tim Kleindienst was one of several key Heidenheim players to leave the club over the summer, with the striker signing for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

In an interview with Sky Germany, the 29-year-old revealed that he didn't need much time to think about making the move.

"The decision wasn't difficult because it was clear to me relatively quickly that I wanted to do it. There was a lot of anticipation and so I was very happy that it worked out," he said.

Kleindienst wasn't too eager to set a goal for Gladbach's season, but he did say:

“It would be nice if we play solidly this season and finish in the nine, especially after last season, so that people realize that Borussia Mönchengladbach is competitive again in the top half of the table.”

So far, Kleindienst has scored two goals in two Bundesliga games for Die Fohlen.
