19-year-old winger Cyriaque Irié is reportedly on the brink of joining SC Freiburg from French second-tier side ESTAC Troyes.

According to Sky Germany, Irié successfully completed his medical with the Bundesliga club on Monday, and a verbal agreement for the move is in place.

Freiburg are expected to pay around €10 million for the talented youngster, who has impressed this season with 8 goals and 3 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

By signing Irié, Freiburg are likely preparing for the expected departure of Ritsu Doan, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
