Bayern Munich are reportedly making progress in their bid to sign Nordi Mukiele from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Sky Germany, Mukiele has committed to Bayern, who are optimistic that a loan deal can be finalized.

Bild reports that sporting director Christoph Freund didn't travel to Bayern's training camp in Portugal as he works to get the deal over the line, with movement expected in the next few days.

Freund spoke about the rumors in a recent interview with Bild, telling the German tabloid:

"I don't want to go into names, but generally speaking, Nordi is the type of player who can play right back and centere-back. He's certainly not an uninteresting type of player."
