Real Madrid vs. RB Leipzig preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Wednesday's Champions League round of 16 second leg clash between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig, including predicted lineups.
RB Leipzig face a tough test on Wednesday night when they travel to the Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Real Madrid.

The Roten Bullen need a win to stay in the competition after the La Liga giants claimed a 1-0 victory at the Red Bull Arena in a game that left Marco Rose's men rueing missed chances.

The German side are coming off a morale-boosting 4-1 win over Bochum and will travel to Madrid with a good feeling and the belief that they can still go through.

"If you lose 0-1 against Real Madrid, if you lose the first leg, and then go to the Bernabeu, nobody expects you to get a result. But we have a chance," RB Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schröder said after the win over Bochum.

Real Madrid haven't lost since their Copa Del Rey extra-time defeat to Atletico Madrid in mid-January, but have been held to two draws in their last three games.

Most recently, they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Valencia in a chaotic match that saw Jude Bellingham sent off for dissent after being denied an injury-time winner.

Bellingham missed the first game against Leipzig through injury, but will be fit for the return fixture after making his return in the draw with Valencia.

Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and David Alaba all remain sidelined with knee injuries for the hosts.

Leipzig will be without Mohamad Simakan (suspension) and Lukas Klostermann (hip).
