Nico Elvedi: 'I'm not planning to leave'

Gladbach defender Nico Elvedi insists he isn't planning to leave Gladbach and underlines that it would take a very good offer to prise him away from Borussia-Park.
Nico Elvedi has made it clear that he has no plans of leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach at the moment.

The 23-year-old has previously been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, but with two years left on his current deal with Gladbach, Elvedi insists he isn't thinking about leaving Borussia-Park.

"I feel very well. We play in the Champions League and want to compete at the top of the Bundesliga once again. I'm not planning to leave," the centre-back said in an interview with Bild.

"Gladbach is a top address. A lot of things have to come together before you leave a club like this," he added.

'Die Fohlen' put €4 million on the table to sign Elvedi from FC Zürich in 2015.
