FC Augsburg were pleased to announce the extension of Finn Dahmen's contract until 2027 this afternoon.

Dahmen, who joined FC Augsburg on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, has conceded just ten goals in 16 appearances this Bundesliga season, keeping nine clean sheets.

With a save percentage of around 85 percent, the 27-year-old has achieved a league-leading record.

Despite rumours linking the shot-stopper with a move to the Premier League, Dahmen is happy to remain a Fuggerstadter.

“I'm very pleased that my contract has been extended for another year. I'm very satisfied with my current role and form and excited about everything that's still to come. My goal is to continue developing and achieve success together with FCA,” he said.
