It's official. Markus Anfang is the coach of newly-relegated Werder Bremen.

According to Kicker last night, the two clubs couldn't agree on the transfer fee, as Werder wanted to pay the 250,000 euros in instalments, which was described as "cheek" by the Hessians.

Now, however, the two clubs have finally agreed on the deal and Werder have their new man, while Darmstadt will be looking for a new coach.

The news was confirmed on Werder's official Twitter account.
