Dani Olmo dismisses RB Leipzig exit links

RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo has played down reports linking him with a move to Spain.

Dani Olmo has pledged loyalty to RB Leipzig amid speculation that the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are interested in him.

Dani Olmo received a hero's welcome from his teammates after scoring the winning goal in extra time as Spain won 2-1 away at Georgia in March 2021. The following day, after completing the training session, the Spanish player, being barefooted, scored from a difficult angle.

"I don't think I've shown everything I'm capable of yet, so I want to continue playing there," said Olmo at a press conference ahead of Spain's Euro 2020 round of 16 tie against Croatia tomorrow.

"In the future, I would love to come home to play in Spain at some point.

"But I've only been in Germany for a year and a half and I want to continue my development there. At the moment, I'm happy in Leipzig."

Olmo's contract with RB Leipzig expires in 2024.
